24ORE Business School is one of Italy's leading post-graduate institutions for executive and professional education.

My role

Service Designer and UX Researcher leading the discovery and ecosystem redesign.

The work

24ORE needed to rethink its entire educational ecosystem — making the catalogue legible, the journey personal and the path to enrolment frictionless. Across eight months we ran 15 in-depth interviews and surveyed close to 400 students and teachers, then redesigned the responsive website around a new profiling system, a modular product grid and a two-step purchase. The result is a calmer, more personal ecosystem where students find their path and the school converts more of them.

Challenge

Rethink the educational ecosystem to deliver an all-around experience across the entire offering spectrum, and provide a fluid use of physical and digital space — while improving visual identity, sales funnel and lead generation.

Research

A mix of qualitative and quantitative work with existing students, potential students and students from competitor schools. The project began in March 2020, so interviews moved online via Google Meet.

15 semi-structured 1:1 interviews (1 hour each), supplemented by an online questionnaire with up to 100 teachers and around 300 students to validate the insights.

What we shipped

A new "Profiler" that asks a few questions and surfaces the most aligned master courses — feeding personalised results, bundles and clearer upsell opportunities.

A modular, scalable product grid with colour-coded product types so users can compare courses and masters at a glance, plus a streamlined two-step checkout with a persistent product summary.

Outcome

In 14 weeks we completely redesigned the responsive 24ORE Business School website — integrating a new profiling and advanced search system, a redesigned onboarding (including a Welcome Kit for teachers), a new personal area, a single two-step purchase, and 20+ initiatives around teacher onboarding.
